The photographer says:
"I took this towards the start of the day when the light was lower and not quite as good as later on but Im still really pleased with it. Strangely the birds only seemed to use this perch the once, Im not sure if something was moved to stop it becoming a good perch, but I feel I might have got a pretty unique pose here compared to the others. It's also a break from the norm when it comes to how I would compose the bird in the frame."
