"The Highlands are indeed one of Scotland's most precious assets. They are romantic, impressive and offer very beautiful scenery. No wonder the Highlands are so famous and have been used as filming location for numerous movies including Highlander, Braveheart and Harry Potter. One can only appreciate their beauty if they actually see them. It's difficult to say which area of the Highlands and Islands would make for the most representative photos to use in brochures, posters or framed prints because the variety in scenery makes it virtually impossible to choose. However, the Isle of Skye uniquely combines mountain landscapes with the Hebrides island character to become a miniature Scotland. And of course, no gallery of the Scottish Highlands and Islands would be complete without including a few adorable sheep.

Those sheep came running towards me. Maybe I did look like their farmer. A photo of common sheeps at this beautiful location in the north of Isle of Skye - Scotland. Did you know there are more sheeps on the island than people?"
